The Sir Cyril Taylor Young African Leaders Program is a fully funded leadership and capacity-building initiative designed for young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa. The program empowers participants who are driving social impact aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and equips them with global leadership, intercultural competence, and community development skills through the AFS Youth Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.
Eligibility Criteria
• Must be between 18 – 35 years old
• Must be a citizen or resident of a Sub-Saharan African country
• Demonstrated leadership experience or involvement in social impact initiatives
• Actively engaged in community development or SDG-related projects
• Proficient in English (working/intermediate level)
• Available to attend the AFS Youth Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland
• Willing to replicate the program impact in their local community
Not Eligible
• Applicants outside Sub-Saharan Africa
• Individuals unable to commit to post-program community impact activities
Funding / Program Benefits
