The SIDS Scholarships 2026 is a fully funded master’s scholarship programme designed for professionals and graduates from Small Island Developing States (SIDS). The programme supports study in the MSc in Water and Sustainable Development at IHE Delft in the Netherlands.

This specialised master’s programme equips participants with advanced knowledge and practical skills in water management, governance, climate resilience, and sustainable development — critical areas for island nations facing water scarcity, sea-level rise, and environmental vulnerability.

Scholars will benefit from interdisciplinary training, international exposure, and research opportunities focused on real-world water challenges in their home regions. The programme strongly encourages candidates to conduct their MSc research in their country or region and to return home after graduation to apply their expertise locally.
