An annual global innovation challenge supporting breakthrough solutions that transform food systems—especially in the Global South.
The Challenge focuses on innovations that improve nutrition, sustainability, and equitable access to food. It recognizes impactful ideas and provides funding to help scale them.
Eligibility Criteria
Eligible applicants:
*Non-profits / NGOs (any country)
*Academic or research institutions (any country)
*Early-stage or emerging for-profit companies or social enterprises
*Multidisciplinary teams under an eligible organization
Not eligible:
*Individuals applying alone
*Applicants from countries under U.S. or German comprehensive sanctions
Funding / Coverage
Three levels of awards supporting innovations at various development stages, including:
*Grants
*Recognition & visibility
*Support from WHH & STF networks
