 Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply:
• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in IMER or related social sciences
• Strong interest in migration, rights, welfare, and social policy
• Experience with qualitative research methods
• English proficiency required
• Dutch language skills are an advantage (not mandatory)

This is a fully funded PhD studentship within the IMER doctoral programme at Malmö University.
The position is linked to an ERC Starting Grant project “Give Rights”, focusing on undocumented migrants’ rights and welfare practices in Europe.

The PhD includes four years of full-time employment, international research collaboration, and fieldwork, with a specific focus on the Netherlands.
