This fully funded PhD studentship at King’s College London explores the impact of generative artificial intelligence (AI)—such as ChatGPT—on the UK labour market.

The research focuses on how AI is reshaping education choices, job tasks, inequality, entrepreneurship, and workforce skills. The project aims to generate policy-relevant evidence to inform UK decision-making on education, labour markets, and AI governance.

As a CASE PhD, the student will work closely with the UK AI Security Institute, gaining direct exposure to applied policy research alongside academic training.
