The Club of Rome Communications Fellowship 2026 is a paid remote fellowship opportunity designed for early-career communications professionals interested in sustainability, systems thinking, climate communication, and global development narratives. The fellowship aims to strengthen diverse global voices in sustainability storytelling by supporting fellows from Africa, Latin America & the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.
Selected fellows will work directly with The Club of Rome communications team on multimedia storytelling, social media campaigns, digital publishing, event communication, and media outreach activities. Fellows will also gain practical experience in global sustainability communication while contributing to international conversations on climate, equity, and systems transformation.
Eligibility Criteria
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Communications, Journalism, Science, Media, or related field
• Experience producing written or multimedia sustainability-related content
• Strong English communication and writing skills
• Interest in climate communication, sustainability, and systems thinking
• Experience with social media, photography, video, or multimedia production is an advantage
• Ability to work remotely in an international team environment
• Passion for global change narratives and sustainability advocacy
