The Restless Development Uganda Consultancy Opportunity 2026 is a paid remote consultancy opportunity designed to strengthen the financial management capacity of youth-led organizations supported under the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab – Power of the Collective programme. The consultancy focuses on helping grantee organizations improve financial systems, internal controls, compliance structures, and reporting processes through training, mentorship, and technical support.
Selected consultants will work closely with youth-led organizations to review financial practices, develop policies, and deliver tailored financial management support that enhances accountability and sustainability. The opportunity offers professionals the chance to contribute to youth empowerment initiatives and international development programmes across Africa.
Eligibility Criteria
• Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
• Minimum 5–7 years experience in financial management or capacity building
• Experience working with NGOs, donor-funded projects, or youth-led organizations
• Strong understanding of compliance systems, internal controls, and risk management
• Experience supporting organizational development and financial training
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and reporting skills
• Familiarity with EU-funded programmes is an advantage
