The OECD Internship Programme 2025 offers highly motivated and qualified students the opportunity to gain practical experience in an international policy environment.
Interns work with OECD professionals on projects that contribute to the organisation’s mission — promoting better policies for better lives — across fields like economics, public governance, digitalisation, education, trade, environment, and development.
The internship provides students with exposure to global policy discussions, analytical research, and collaboration in a multicultural workplace at the OECD headquarters in Paris, France, or occasionally in other OECD offices.
Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply:
• Currently enrolled in a full-time Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme for the duration of the internship.
• Available for a minimum of 1 month and up to 6 months (renewable to 12 months).
• Strong academic background and interest in OECD policy areas.
• Excellent command of English or French (knowledge of both is an advantage).
• Good analytical, research, and communication skills.
• Team-oriented, adaptable, and proactive mindset.
• Applicants must have valid student status during the entire internship period.
Funding / Coverage
Interns receive:
• A living allowance of approx. €1,000 per month (to support living expenses in Paris).
• Access to OECD facilities and resources.
