Location: New York & Vermont, United States (in-person component) + Virtual (global participation)

Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply:
• Young leaders aged 18–26 as of June 1, 2026

• Citizens of any country are eligible to apply

• Passionate about creating positive change in their community in the fields of education, health, or economic security

• Fluent in spoken and written English

• Have access to the internet and email throughout the program

• Able to obtain a U.S. visa and travel to the United States for the in-person training component

• Committed to completing all phases of the fellowship (virtual and in-person)

The MCW Global Young Leaders Fellowship 2026 is a fully funded, year-long program designed to empower emerging leaders aged 18–26 from around the world to drive positive change in their communities.

Through a combination of in-person training, virtual mentorship, and project implementation, fellows develop the skills, knowledge, and networks necessary to address critical issues in education, health, and economic security.

The program emphasizes community-driven leadership, equipping participants with the tools to identify local challenges, design effective solutions, and lead impactful projects that foster sustainable development.

Funding / Coverage
The fellowship is fully funded and covers:

• International airfare to and from the United States

• Accommodation during the in-person training program in New York and Vermont

• Meals and local transportation during the training period

• Program materials, mentorship, and ongoing support for the project implementation phase
