The LSTM Future Leaders in Global Health Scholarship 2026 aims to support outstanding students who aspire to become influential professionals in the field of global health.
This scholarship provides financial support and recognition to students who demonstrate exceptional potential to lead and innovate in addressing major health challenges around the world.
The award is offered to applicants enrolling in the MSc Global Health program at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine (LSTM), starting January 2026.
Scholars will gain critical knowledge and skills to tackle global health inequities, influence health policy, and lead multidisciplinary teams in the international health sector.
Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply:
• Applicants must have a conditional offer for the MSc Global Health program at LSTM (January 2026 intake).
• Open to both Home (UK) and Overseas (International) applicants.
• Must demonstrate a strong commitment to a career in global health leadership.
• Applicants should show potential to contribute to public health impact, policy change, or research innovation.
• Must submit a 700-word statement outlining academic goals, leadership vision, and anticipated impact in global health.
Funding / Coverage
• Scholarship value: £5,000 contribution toward tuition fees.
• Multiple awards available.
• Tuition fee for the MSc Global Health (2026 entry): £14,490 (Home and Overseas).
• Scholarship funds are applied directly toward tuition upon enrollment.
