The Internet Society Early Career Fellowship 2026 is a six-month global leadership and professional development program designed to empower early-career professionals who are passionate about strengthening and shaping the future of the Internet. The fellowship focuses on Internet governance, policy, advocacy, leadership, and project implementation, while connecting fellows with global experts and a diverse international peer network.
Eligibility Criteria
• Open to applicants from all countries
• Early-career professionals with less than 10 years of full-time work experience
• Undergraduate degree or vocational qualification OR at least 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Strong interest or involvement in Internet governance, policy, technology, or digital development
• Ability to design and implement a project that strengthens the Internet
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Reliable Internet access and ability to commit ~6 hours per week
