The ICMM Young Leaders Scholarship 2026 is a fully funded opportunity designed for impactful young leaders who are driving change in the fields of sustainability, climate action, and responsible mining.
The scholarship selects exceptional individuals to participate in the One Young World Summit 2026. Beyond the summit, scholars engage in high-level dialogues with industry CEOs and global experts to discuss the role of minerals and metals in the transition to a net-zero economy.
Participants gain global visibility for their initiatives, receive professional mentorship, and join an elite network of over 20,000 ambassadors dedicated to creating a sustainable future.
Eligibility Criteria
• Aged 18–30 (candidates up to 35 may be considered with significant impact)
• Demonstrated commitment to positive change in sustainability or mining
• Capacity for leadership and innovation
• Engagement in biodiversity, decarbonisation, or social performance
• Available to travel to South Africa in November 2026
