The HealthCollaborative Scholars Program at KNUST offers prestigious fully funded postgraduate scholarships aimed at developing the next generation of African leaders in public health, epidemiology, health systems management, and health entrepreneurship.
The scholarship supports Master’s, MPhil, and PhD students committed to strengthening health systems, driving innovation, and improving healthcare outcomes across Africa.
Students gain mentorship from leading African health experts, participate in real-world public health projects, and join a Pan-African network of universities, research centers, policymakers, and health innovators.
The program particularly supports graduates from Africa Health Collaborative partner institutions and individuals dedicated to advancing health leadership, innovation, and equity on the continent.
Eligibility Criteria
Who can apply:
• Applicants based in Ghana
• Graduating students and alumni of Africa Health Collaborative partner universities
• Bachelor’s degree (for Master’s applicants) or a relevant Master’s (for MPhil/PhD)
• Strong academic background and interest in public health, health systems, epidemiology, or health entrepreneurship
• Demonstrated leadership and commitment to improving health in Africa
• Ability to meet KNUST’s graduate admission requirements
• Research interest aligned with health systems strengthening, global health, epidemics, or NCDs
