Harvard LEAD Fellowship for Promoting Women in Global Health 2026–2027

Harvard Global Health Institute (HGHI) in collaboration with the Department of Global Health and Population, Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA

Eligibility Criteria:

*Minimum of a Master’s degree in a relevant field

*At least 10 years of full-time professional experience in global health (work as a student does not count)

*Must take leave from current position for 6-week in-residence experience in April 2027

*Ability to obtain a J-1 visa and reside in Cambridge, MA, for six weeks

*No participation in any full-time fellowship ≥4 months in the last 2 years

*Demonstrated substantial leadership experience and potential

*Open to all continents, disciplines, sectors, and gender identities

A 1-year fellowship to advance leadership skills in global health professionals from low- and middle-income countries, combining virtual learning and a 6-week in-person experience at Harvard University. Fellows receive mentorship, leadership coaching, executive education, networking, and the opportunity to build a custom leadership development curriculum.
