The Global Visiting Researcher Programme 2026 by the Danish Institute for Human Rights is a fully funded opportunity designed for researchers from the Global South and underrepresented regions.

The programme supports scholars working on critical human rights issues by offering them the chance to collaborate with international experts, contribute to impactful research, and engage with global policy discussions.

Participants will be affiliated with the institute for up to six months, combining remote collaboration with a short in-person stay in Copenhagen, Denmark. The programme emphasizes practical, policy-relevant research that can influence real-world human rights outcomes.
