Eligibility Criteria
• Citizens of eligible developing countries (DAC List of ODA recipients)

• Offer of admission (conditional or unconditional) to an eligible postgraduate programme at the University of Edinburgh

• Strong academic background (equivalent to a UK First Class Honours degree)

• Applicants who have not previously had the opportunity to study at Master’s level are prioritized

• Commitment to improving healthcare or public health in home country

• Strong personal statement demonstrating motivation and impact

The Glenmore Postgraduate Scholarship is a prestigious, fully funded scholarship offered by the University of Edinburgh for the 2026–2027 academic year.
It is designed to support outstanding students from developing countries, particularly Africa and other low- and middle-income regions, who wish to pursue postgraduate studies in medicine, public health, and health-related disciplines.
