 Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen 

• Must have admission into a Master’s or PhD programme in a Ghanaian accredited institution

• Applicants for Master’s must hold at least a Second Class (Lower Division) first degree

• Must not be currently enrolled in another postgraduate programme at the time of application

• Must be available to begin studies at the start of the academic year

• Must not have previously benefited from a GETFund scholarship in the same category

• Must meet all academic and institutional admission requirements

The GETFund Postgraduate Local Scholarship is a government-funded initiative designed to support qualified Ghanaian students pursuing Master’s and PhD programmes in accredited tertiary institutions within Ghana. The scholarship aims to build national capacity by supporting advanced training in priority academic and professional fields critical to Ghana’s development.
