Program Location

 Eligibility Criteria
• Be 15–20 years old at the start of the program (born between 1 December 2005 and 1 September 2011)
• Demonstrate interest in STEM, sustainability, and global issues
• Be motivated to create positive social or environmental impact
• Have sufficient English proficiency to participate in online sessions
• Commit to completing the full 12-week virtual program

The AFS Global STEM Changemakers 2026 is a fully funded virtual exchange program that empowers young people to become sustainability leaders through STEM education, intercultural learning, and social innovation. Participants collaborate with peers from around the world, attend interactive online workshops, and develop practical solutions to global sustainability challenges while earning an internationally recognized certificate.

 Eligibility Criteria
• Be 15–20 years old at the start of the program (born between 1 December 2005 and 1 September 2011)
• Demonstrate interest in STEM, sustainability, and global issues
• Be motivated to create positive social or environmental impact
• Have sufficient English proficiency to participate in online sessions
• Commit to completing the full 12-week virtual program

 Funding / Scholarship Benefits
 Successful applicants receive:
• Full scholarship (no participation fee)
• Access to a 12-week international virtual exchange program
• Advanced Certificate on Global Competence for Social Impact from AFS and the University of Pennsylvania
