AI & National Security Convergence Fellowship
Council on Strategic Risks (CSR) in partnership with the Future of Life Institute (FLI)
Location: Washington, DC, USA (virtual participation possible for bootcamp modules)
This fellowship equips mid-career professionals with the knowledge and tools to address emerging risks in AI and national security. Fellows engage in a seven-month program combining virtual bootcamps, scenario exercises, and workshops to explore plausible futures of AI integration in security contexts.
Eligibility Criteria
*Mid-career professionals (10+ years of experience, not strictly required)
*Background in diplomacy, defense, international relations, law, science, technical fields, or AI-related work
*US citizens only (future cohorts may include international participants)
*Must be able to attend all in-person sessions in Washington, DC

*Fully supported program activities, including in-person workshops and scenario exercises
*Networking opportunities with senior officials and peers
