The OECD is a leading international organisation focused on policymaking, economic development, governance, sustainability, and international research. Its 2026 Internship Programme offers students worldwide hands-on experience in policy analysis, research, and global governance. Interns can work in-person in Paris, hybrid, or fully remote depending on the directorate.
Location
Paris, France (In-person, Hybrid, or Remote depending on department)

- Eligibility Criteria
*Enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD programme for the duration of the internship
*Available 1–6 months (renewable to 12 months)
*Excellent command of English or French; willingness to improve the other
*Strong analytical, quantitative, IT, and communication skills
*Comfortable in multicultural and international environments
Responsibilities
*Conduct research and review literature
*Prepare reports, notes, and technical annexes
*Analyse and organise datasets
*Support policy development and drafting background documents
*Assist with meetings, workshops, and seminars
*Liaise with governments, academia, and partner institutions
*Support communications, events, and knowledge management

*Policy Directorates: Economy, Climate & Environment, Development, Education & Skills, Trade, Health, Finance & Investment, etc.
*Corporate Functions: HR, Communications, Finance, Legal, IT, Translation, Event Management, Office Administration
Duration, Working Hours & Flexibility
*1–6 months (renewable to 12)
*Full-time preferred (40 hrs/week); part-time (minimum 20 hrs/week) possible
*Flexible working formats: In-person, hybrid, or remote
Allowance & Benefits
*Paris-based interns: €1,000/month
*Annual leave: 2.5 days/month worked
*Observe French public holidays
*Travel, visa, insurance, and relocation not covered
