A fully remote opportunity for an experienced Air Traffic Controller to apply operational expertise in aviation while contributing to AI training and educational activities. The role combines traditional ATC knowledge with scenario design, AI output validation, and mentoring responsibilities.

    The Air Traffic Controller – AI Trainer will oversee aviation-related operations, support regulatory compliance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and validate AI training data. Responsibilities include designing realistic and edge-case scenarios, reviewing AI-generated outputs, contributing to system improvements, and supporting instructional or mentoring activities. The role may also involve teaching undergraduate-level aviation content, preparing course materials, grading assessments, and guiding junior team members.
    Eligibility Criteria

    *Proven experience in air traffic control (ATC) operations

    *Strong understanding of aviation regulatory compliance

    *Experience with analytical thinking and scenario design

    *Familiarity with AI training data development and validation

    *Strong written and verbal communication skills

    *Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment

    *Experience mentoring, training, or teaching in technical settings

    *Organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities

    *Compensation
    $59 – $98 per hour
