Eligibility Criteria

• Open to nationals of World Bank IBRD member countries

• Must be currently enrolled in a law degree program (LLB, JD, LLM, SJD, PhD)

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills

• Fluency in English required (French, Spanish, Arabic, or other languages are an advantage)

• Must remain enrolled during the internship period

The World Bank Legal Internship Program offers highly motivated law students the opportunity to gain practical experience in international development law at one of the world’s leading global institutions. Interns work closely with World Bank legal professionals, contributing to legal research, drafting, and advisory work that supports development projects worldwide.
